Whether it is a games console, DVD player or sound system, we know that you need a high quality TV to get the best out of a product, and that is why we stock a huge range of cheap LCD TVs. 2013 sees the release of Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One, both due for release in November, and that is bound to get more than a few hearts racing.
It has recently been speculated that Sony’s PlayStation 4 campaign is struggling to meet the high demand for the console. In fact, the PS4 will go on sale in Japan three full months after it is released to the markets of Europe and the US. The console is to be available for UK shoppers in November 2013; however Japanese fans of the games console have to wait until February 2014 before they are able to get their hands the new device.
In direct competition with Sony’s PlayStation 4 is the Xbox One that will also be released in November. This console wasn’t initially as popular with the gaming audience since Microsoft announced its plans for a mandated 24hour online check in, but these intentions were scrapped earlier in the year due to the negative response. Since then, the popularity of the Xbox One seems to have made a comeback, as both the console pre-orders have completely sold out.
Both consoles have impressive, powerful specs including fantastic graphics, with the PS4 boasting an output of an incredible 1080p. It will be very interesting to see which gaming console wins out in the end and sells the most models. The PS4 or Xbox One would make a fantastic Christmas gift if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one. Remember though, to make any gaming experience worthwhile you need a superb television set to play it on, such as the larger than life 46” Samsung LE46C530 or the smaller 24” Venturer PLV91237.
With the release of both of these fantastic new gaming systems, 2013 shall certainly be known as ‘The Year of the Console’, and you can always be sure that you’ll have the best gaming experience when you by a TV or monitor from the tech experts here at Electronic World.
