That is why we take the maintenance of your television extremely seriously. After purchasing your set it is important for you to learn about the care of your television.
Flat Screen Cleaning: Unplug and cool your flat screen before you begin cleaning it. If you clean your telly without doing this then it could cause a harmful switch in temperature, and ultimately damage the set. Use screen cleaner on a damp cloth to clean the set and gently wipe it on the screen. It is not advisable to spray or apply the screen cleaner directly onto the TV.
LCD: It usually takes less than 5 minutes to clean an LCD television. Turn off your set so you can see where the dirt is and use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the dirt away. If you are struggling to remove the dirt, don’t press down hard as this could cause the pixels to burn out. It is a good idea to use a dampened cloth with an equal ration of distilled water to white vinegar. Try to clean the screen as often as you can to eliminate glare and fingerprints.
Plasma : Much like the LCD, routine cleaning and dusting is required to keep the picture quality looking its best. In addition to using a dry cloth, you can use a tiny amount of washing up liquid in warm water if the screen is particularly dirty. Only use washing up liquid and never use window cleaner because the alcohol in it can damage the anti glare of your plasma screen. After wiping the screen, dry it off with a clean and dry micro fibre cloth.
