So, 3DTVs are on their way and should be available in the UK very soon. If you’re one of those people who simply must have the latest technology as soon as it becomes available then no doubt you’ll have already pre-ordered a set. However, if you really want the fully immersive 3D experience in your own home then you’re going to need a pretty serious sound system to complement that brand new TV.
Thankfully Sony have seen fit to release a new fully 3D capable sound bar that is designed to work in conjunction with their Bravia range of TVs and sets from other manufacturers. They have also realised a brand new 5.1 home cinema sound system which has full 3D capabilities when paired with an appropriate television set. These systems will help you to recreate the 3D cinema experience in your own home and they’re likely to be snapped up very quickly by home cinema enthusiasts.
Although these two new systems from Sony are designed to be compatible with new 3D TVs there is no reason why you cannot use them with a standard cheap LCD TV that doesn’t have 3D capabilities. The excellent sound quality from these speakers needn’t be limited to 3D TV users and there is no reason why you shouldn’t invest now and experience them for yourself whilst you wait for the price of 3D TVs to drop. There’s no reason to abandon your trusty cheap LCD TV just yet, the 3D revolution isn’t quite fully underway, so don’t worry about your TV being obsolete just yet!
