There are numerous reasons you may be looking to benefit from our fantastic cheap TV deals; perhaps your TV has hit the skids, maybe you are just looking for an upgrade, either way you are looking to improve your current viewing predicament.
However, when your televisual woes aren’t directly related to the quality of your television set, issues can arise with the formatting of your media. Whilst more of an ‘analogue’ issue, transferring your video to DVD is a way of rectifying the issue of having easily damaged copies of old home videos, fam-packed with nostalgia. When it comes to the streaming of otherwise disconnected media onto your television, you may find it a little more difficult, but this needn’t be the case…
Wireless Media Player
You can simply hook up a digital receiver to your wireless network. Doing so will enable you to wirelessly stream anything from music to video from any connected computer on the network, then subsequently onto your TV.
Games Console
Everything from PlayStation 3 and 4, through to XBOX 360 and XBOX One, have the ability to connect to a network. Once you have connected said-system to your wireless router, you have the ability to hook up the system’s Media Player to be able to stream the desired content wirelessly.
Plex
For those of you out there unfamiliar with Plex, it is a piece of software which allows you to turn any computer connected to the internet into a server which your television recognises and can connect to. However, this means connecting a hardware device which recognises the Plex app, such as Google’s Chromecast, although some Smart TVs are actually, and increasingly, Plex-ready. Plex is also becoming available for the new Apple tvOS; what can’t that thing do?
Chromecast
Finding Google’s Chromecast is pretty easy, and it won’t break the bank. It is essentially a dongle which plugs into your television via HDMI. Whilst you are able to stream online videos, you can also drop a file you wish to view onto a blank Chrome page on your desktop. These can then be viewed on your television! Magic, ey!
There are some pretty fantastic ways to stream your personal videos wirelessly onto your television. The speed at which you can view yourself frolicking around on a HD screen is amazing, although be prepared for the initial shock of seeing yourself in all your highly-defined glory! No one likes that first time round!
But before you can do that, you’re going to need to acquire yourself a high quality television set! So, if you’re missing one of those media-magicians from your life, give one of our friendly team a call. You can contact us on 0121 327 3273 where one of our team will be eagerly awaiting your call.
