My Cart - It’s rare in the market for electronic goods that price of new, more advanced versions of a certain product are often more affordable than their predecessors. However, this certainly seems to be the case with LCD TVs with new, more technologically advanced models being released with reasonable price tags.
Of course, when new developments being made in the world of LCD TVs at the present rate it would be highly impractical for manufacturers to price their latest releases highly as new models are constantly being introduced to the market and competition is fierce.
One of the great things about this for the consumer is that TVs which were top of the line just a matter of months ago are being discounted heavily by retailers as they’ve already been superseded by new models.
Of course, if you’re very concerned about always being at the cutting edge of technology the idea of buying a discounted TV that has since been surpassed by newer models may not appeal. However, the truth is that it’s fairly unlikely, unless of course you’re an industry expert, that you’ll be able to tell the difference between the picture on a TV that was top of the line two years ago and one that was released last week. The only real giveaway is the model number!
So, although there are plenty of top of the range TVs being introduced to the market at very reasonable prices you might be able to find yourself a TV with an even better price that is less than 12 months old. Who ever said that you need to pay top dollar to access the latest in home entertainment technology!
