This year seems to be flying by! How are we nearing April already? It doesn’t seem a month since we wrote about the new and returning TV shows in March. April is a month filled with some exciting upcoming celebrations, including Easter and St George’s Day.
There’s much more to be excited about from the upcoming month, with many new and returning TV shows coming to Netflix. You haven’t got long to wait until you can watch some of your favourite shows on your Cheap Smart TV.

When: 4th April
Famous in Love centres around college student, Paige, as her ordinary life changes after she auditions for and lands a role in a big-budget blockbuster film. Her newfound fame turns Paige into the new ‘it’ girl in Hollywood, bringing with it the highs and lows of celebrity life.
Bella Thorne plays the titular character in this American drama series, based on the novel of the same name. If you were a fan of season one, you haven’t got long to wait for the second season to premiere on the 4th April.
Imposters (Season 2)
When: 5th April
If you like dark comedies, you’ll be a fan of Imposters. Starring Inbar Lavi, Rob Heaps and Uma Thurman, the series follows con artist, Maddie, who with the help of her roommates, seduces men and women to get them to fall in love in her. Once they do, she leaves them used and robbed of everything.
However, things take a turn when three of her former victim’s team up to track her down. Season 2 premieres on the 5th April.
The Boss Baby: Back in Business
When: 6th April
If you saw The Boss Baby film, there’s no doubt you will want to watch this upcoming American computer-animated web television series, produced by DreamWorks Animation. A spin-off of the film and loosely based on the book of the same name, the series will follow Boss Baby and his big brother Tim as they navigate around the world of BabyCorp.
It will premiere on the 6th April.
New Girl: (Season 7)
When: 10th April
New Girl burst onto our screens in 2011, and fans of the much-loved comedy show have been watching ever since. Unfortunately, season 7 will be the last. Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Hannah Simone and Lamorne Morris have been making audiences laugh throughout the entirety of the show. If you’ve been a fan from the start, do not miss the final season’s premiere on the 10th April.
