Samsung has announced that the company has signed a deal a deal with Youtube, allowing them exclusive 3D content on Samsung Smart TVs. Samsung TVs will be the first to offer 3D Youtube in the television industry, as they continue to remain at the forefront of cutting edge technology. Aiming to revolutionise the world of audiovisual products, their attempts to give TV a broader role within the home look promising; their goal of 1000 apps for its Smart TV by the end of September is currently running on track.
Through the Youtube app users will be able to access over 35 thousand videos on the Samsung Smart TV. High definition video, 3D HD and 5.1 audio are all being developed at present. As Samsung endeavour to transform television, their Smart TVs are fast on the way to becoming the centre of the connected home, pushing the boundaries of entertainment and interaction. At the touch of the button, a whole new world of content can be delivered directly to your home.
With internet connection, the ability to run software, and a wealth of information at your fingertips, the computer is the heart of people’s electronic and online lives. Samsung anticipate their Smart TVs could supersede this, occupying the role of the soon to be obsolete PC. Whether it’s getting friends together to watch a movie, using the education app with the family or video calling to the other side of the world, all of this and so much more is now available from the leading electronics company, Samsung.
