A TV was once a luxury item. When they were first invented, they were a commodity only owned by the wealthy, but by the time it came to the 1970s, 93% of homes in the UK owned a TV. This has steadily risen over the years, and today, many people have more than one TV in their house. So it raises the question, where is a TV unacceptable within a home? The short answer is nowhere.
