My Cart - Different people prefer different forms of television – LCD, LED or Plasma – this is the big question for most people when buying a new TV. The argument over which is better has been raging for the best part of a decade since flat screen TVs because much more affordable. Apparently, the best tech to go for is plasma.
At least that’s the opinion of the Head of Panasonics TV business – Fabrice Estornel. Panasonic have recently launched a new range of plasma and ‘best ever’ LED TVs, with the plasma models being touted as the best for sports and movie fans.
Nearly all other manufacturers have stopped making plasma TVs now, so if you want the best in plasma technology, Panasonic is the way to go. Previously, Pioneer had arguably been the best manufacturer for plasma technology, but as they have backed out of the television market, Panasonic are trying to claim their crown.
The combination of better technology and more affordable prices will hopefully give plasma sets a resurgence, even after the slowdown in research compared to their LCD and LED counterparts.
