Last month, the question of the month focused on what Smart TV is best to buy in terms of value, whereas the question this month is: what’s the best TV for my bedroom?
Imagine getting up on a Sunday morning, quickly make a coffee and some toast and simply getting back in bed; grab the remote, and get your favourite catch up TV on your screen. Sounds like bliss, doesn’t it?
There are certain other reasons why a TV in your personal space can be a benefit. If you live with other people, chances are you both don’t have the same taste in TV shows and films. You can escape to your own space and not have to worry. TV doesn’t just have to be watched. If you have a smart TV, you can play your favourite Spotify playlist, or scroll through Facebook in the privacy of your own room. A TV in the bedroom is a good way to escape and relax in your personal space.
When considering buying a TV for you room, think about what your focus will be; are you a sports fanatic, a movie buff or a soap queen? What you watch may make a difference to what kind of TV you require. Chances are if you watch sports a lot, then you may want 1080p or even higher definition.
If films are your thing, then this may be the same; there is nothing worse than having a substandard quality screen for the latest and greatest film streaming. If you are a channel flicker and simply flick from ITV to BBC, have your scheduled routine of soaps and the occasional episode of Jeremy Kyle, then you may be willing to settle for a less expensive and more standard TV.
The size of your room may make your TV choice differ. If you have limited space, then you may opt for a smaller sized screen, and an on the wall mount to save extra space. A 52” + size screen in a small room may be a bit overwhelming and you could find yourself not enjoying your TV as much.
Consider other aspects, such as the placement of your games consoles, or any streaming boxes or devices. Make sure you have an organised shelf and if your TV is mounted, make sure there’s room nearby for all the extras.
If you are on trend with all the tech know-how, then higher grade of technology and having the latest and greatest TV may be your main bedroom-tech focus. If you stream film after film, then you may even want 3D Technology to add to your experience.
