There are several important differences that must be considered when selecting which size is best for you.
The History of the TV
Originally, television looked a lot different to what we know and love today. With its origins dating back as far as 1884, it wasn’t until 1927 when the first image was transmitted – this was a single straight line.
The first commercial television set became available to the public in 1928. The TV produced an image the size of a postage stamp, which was then magnified by an engineered sheet of glass to double the size of the image.
Thankfully, by 1977 the first LED flat panel television screen was devised, and the rest is history.
Sizes Available
Currently, the smallest television screen on the market is 16 inches. Anything smaller than this would be classed as a personal device, such as a tablet or a mobile phone.

The largest size that we offer are 50 inch TVs, which are perfect for larger open spaces such as a spacious TV or recreational room.
On top of all of this, what is important to remember is that the way that we watch television has changed dramatically with the rise of internet streaming. Streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime have enabled us to watch television on the go, meaning that customers can now use mobile phone screens and tablets to catch up on the latest in the world of entertainment.

What to Consider When Selecting a Size
Whether your television is for your living room, bedroom, kitchen or even your bathroom, finding the perfect fit is incredibly important.
Firstly, you need to consider what you are going to be watching on your television. Will you be watching live sports, in crystal clear high-definition? If so, permitting that you have the space, opting for the largest television can provide the best viewing experience.
Alternatively, there is a formula that you can use to discover what sized television is perfect for the area in which you are going to fit the TV: measure the distance from the television in which you will be sitting regularly, covert this to inches, and then multiply it by 0.84.
