New Tech
Something you need to ask yourself when it comes to deciding on a new TV is whether you really want any of the new, high tech features these new models come with. 3D for instance is a huge seller these days, bringing a unique level of interactivity with your television. However, a lot of people feel that 3D as unnecessary as it can add a lot more hassle so that you can use it to its full potential.
However, the price of televisions overall is getting cheaper as each year passes. For instance, in 2004, a 30-inch model would set you back around £2000 but today you can pick up a 40-inch for just over £500. With the rate of production, this price will most likely keep getting lower too!
Many new models also consume less power; energy bills are constantly on the rise after all. A 40-inch LCD model from 2009 would only cost you around £45 a year in energy, whereas last year, a good 40-inch LED TV would only set you back around £23 a year!

So when is the best time you’re asking us? Well, there isn’t really a best time, there’s just your time. If you’re thinking you can wait for a while before getting yourself a new TV, just be aware that there will always be new models just over the horizon. So a new television today, is an old one tomorrow.
