Guarantee Policy

All of the televisions we sell are covered by a '1 Year Parts & Labour Back-to-Base Guarantee', unless otherwise stated on the product page. Some items that have been reduced in price may have a shorter guarantee period. Please keep the invoice as proof of purchase and guarantee.

Technical fault within 30 days of buying: Electronic World will replace your TV with the exact model. If that model is not available another will be offered to the same specification and price. Alternatively you can opt for a full refund.

Technical fault after 30 days of buying: Electronic World will repair your TV free of charge

In the unlikely event of a fault please contact us via email to info@electronicworldtv.co.uk or by phone on 0121 769 2623 with your invoice number and model number of the TV. 

This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse (for which there can be no refund or exchange). Please check the plug, batteries, fuse and the manufacturer's operating instructions before contacting us. We advise you to retain all original packaging in case of a return, replacement or repair.

Please note all TVs sold by Electronic World are fitted with a security seal inside the TV. This seal will be broken if the TV is opened. The seal is fitted to ensure that the TV is not tampered with before being returned to us. You must ensure that during the guarantee period the TV is not given to a third party for inspection/repair, because doing so will break the seal and your guarantee will become void. Electronic World reserves the right to refuse repair/exchange of a TV that has a damaged seal upon return to us.

Extended Warranties

All extended warranties sold by Electronic World TV are provided and serviced by the company itself. The policies can be purchased at the time of purchasing your item and the period of extended cover will be clearly stated at the point of sale. The extended warranty covers all parts and labour for the repair of any faults that may occur within the warranty period. Extended warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidental / water damage or theft. Please not that these warranties are not an insurance warranty, rather they are an extension of the parts and labour warranties originally supplied with the television.
