The Sony K50S3B BRAVIA 3 is a modern 50-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart TV combining Sony's renowned picture processing with TRILUMINOS PRO, Dolby Vision and the feature-rich Google TV platform.
Powered by Sony's 4K HDR Processor X1, the K50S3B intelligently enhances colour, contrast and clarity, while 4K X-Reality PRO improves lower-resolution television and streaming content for a sharper, more detailed 4K picture.
Sony's TRILUMINOS PRO technology reproduces a wide range of colours and subtle shades for more natural-looking skin tones, landscapes and cinematic content. Dynamic Contrast Enhancer further optimises light and dark areas of the image.
HDR compatibility is excellent for a TV in this class, with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG. The Direct LED panel has a 50Hz native refresh rate and accepts 4K video signals at up to 60Hz.
Gamers benefit from ALLM, which automatically switches to a low-latency gaming mode with compatible equipment. The BRAVIA 3 does not support 4K 120Hz or VRR, making it better suited to everyday and casual gaming rather than high-refresh-rate gaming.
Sound is delivered through Sony's X-Balanced Speaker system with 20W output, while Dolby Atmos provides a more immersive experience with compatible content.
Powered by Google TV, the K50S3B brings together popular streaming apps and services in one easy-to-use interface. Chromecast built-in, Apple AirPlay and Apple HomeKit provide additional casting and smart-home functionality.
