The Philips 65OLED805/12 OLED805 is a premium 65-inch 4K OLED Smart TV combining stunning OLED picture quality, Philips' powerful P5 AI Perfect Picture Engine and immersive three-sided Ambilight technology.
Featuring self-lit OLED pixels, the 65OLED805 delivers perfect blacks, exceptional contrast and rich, lifelike colours. Unlike conventional LED televisions, each pixel produces its own light, allowing dark scenes to retain outstanding detail without unwanted backlight blooming.
The P5 AI Perfect Picture Engine uses artificial intelligence to optimise picture quality, intelligently enhancing sharpness, colour, contrast and motion. Its 4K Ultra HD resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels delivers exceptional detail, while Perfect Natural Motion helps keep fast-moving scenes smooth and clear.
HDR performance is particularly impressive, with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG. This extensive HDR compatibility ensures excellent picture quality across a wide range of films, streaming services and 4K content.
One of the OLED805's standout features is three-sided Ambilight, which projects coloured light onto the wall behind the television to match the action on screen. This creates a more immersive viewing experience and makes the picture feel larger than the screen itself.
The television features a 100Hz native OLED panel, making it ideal for sport, films and everyday entertainment. It accepts 4K video signals at up to 60Hz, although it does not support HDMI 2.1 gaming features such as 4K 120Hz or VRR.
Audio is delivered through a 50W 2.1-channel sound system, featuring a dedicated rear-mounted woofer for deeper bass. Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD support provide an immersive listening experience with compatible content.
Powered by Android TV, the Philips 65OLED805/12 offers access to popular streaming services, Google Play Store, Google Assistant and Chromecast built-in. The television also supports Amazon Alexa functionality through compatible devices.
With its premium OLED panel, comprehensive HDR support and spectacular Ambilight technology, the Philips 65OLED805/12 is an excellent choice for customers looking for a cinematic television at an affordable price.
